    All ceremonies include the following services:

  1. Optional 'get aquainted' visit with bride and groom to answer questions. (You come to Anderson, SC)
  2. I will officiate and file your license with probate - There is no need to return to the courthouse after                 your wedding.
  3. Travel to the location of your wedding.
  4. Unlimited email and telephone support - ceremony ideas, locations, etiquette - I am happy to assist!
  5. Custom, personalized ceremony based on personal information that you give /we discuss.  You have a   choice of civil, non-religious or religious.
  6. Custom Marriage Certificate (or Commitment Ceremony) "Keepsake".
  7. Electronic Copy of your Marriage License emailed to you after the wedding.
  This is ceremony format that I use unless one is provided by the bride and groom (except elopements)

  3. Invocation - Opening Prayer (religious ceremony only)
  4. Family Blessing - also called Declaration of Consent (give the bride away)
  5. Opening Remarks
  6. Question of Intent
  7. Readings & Music (Optional - if you want a poem, passage, reading or a special music played or sung)
  8. Wedding Vows
  9. Blessing of the Rings
  10. Exchange of Rings
  11. Optional Ceremony - but adds a nice touch (see below)
  12. Benediction - Closing Prayer (Religious)
  13. Wedding Blessing  (non-religious)
  14. Pronouncement of Marriage
  15. And then, you 'kiss'! 
  16. Presentation (of the new couple)
  17. Ceremony Recessional

  Optional Ceremonies I am happy to include in your wedding at no additional charge.                                        (I highly recommend, they add a 'visual effect'  and your guests are more likey to remember what they 'see'.)          

  1. Unity Sand Ceremony- Symbolizes the blending of your two lives/famlies into one.
  2. "Pass the Peace" Candle Ceremony (can be done in conjunction with Unity Candle).
  3. Rose Ceremony - a single red rose means "I love you".
  4. Breaking of the glass - Symbolizes "Life is fragile"
  5. Parental Honoring
  6. Blended Family Ceremony - Join your famlies.  Parents & children vow to accept & respect eachother.
  7. Wine Ceremony - Drink from the "Cup of Life" - Symbolizing the journey of life now before you.
  8. Jumping the Sword and/or Broom - Sword symbolic of cuting ties with the old life. Broom represents              the remnants being swept away.
  9. Handfasting -  A symbolic ceremony to acknowledge that your lives & fates are now bound together.
  10. Ceremony of the Hands - Bride & Groom view the hands of the other as a gift
  11. Water Ceremony - Pour two different colored waters into a 3rd vessel creating a third color.
  12. Any other ceremonies, readings, poems that you want included.

   Cost - My fees are based on the professional quality of the services you receive.  They also depend on the location of the ceremony and whether there will be a rehearsal.  Call me for rates.   Thank you!
